Erin Tubridy Gates, designer, author and creator of the Elements of Style blog, celebrates the beauty of design in all its many forms. From developing an appreciation for home building and decorating early on from her self-taught architect father to later ventures in the worlds of fine art and event planning, Erin collects inspiration for her designs from varied sources, past and present.

Shortly after launching Elements of Style in 2007, Erin founded her own design firm to help homeowners from coast to coast bring their dream home to life. Her designs and writing have been featured in numerous publications including Better Homes & Gardens, InStyle, O the Oprah Magazine, and many more. She has also published two books: Elements of Style: Designing A Home & A Life and Elements of Family Style: Elegant Spaces for Everyday Life.
